Instrumentation

Providing our clients with dual trade Electrical and Instrumentation Cert III qualified supervisors and technicians is what separates RGB Industries from the rest. We provide staff for projects, shutdowns, and ongoing shift relief. We can also provide on-site calibration of instruments and have test equipment available for hire if required.

Electrical

We provide experienced High Voltage Truck Electricians, washplant maintenance electricians, field maintenance electricians and shift relief as needed, including supervisors. We also provide EEHA-trained personnel for hazardous area auditing and compliance work.

Electrical Projects

Electrical projects are our specialty. Decades of experience are on display as we take your project form concept through to completion. We can handle everything from pre-feasibility, concept, detailed design, execution, commissioning, and operational readiness.

Underground

RGB Industries is ready to provide underground electrical staff for short or long-term assignments on an as-needed basis. Our underground fitters have extensive conveyor and longwall experience.

Planning

We can provide you with experienced maintenance planning personnel. Our topshelf people have worked on large-scale heavy earth moving planning for OEM’s and CHPP maintenance.

Engineering

We have the capability to undertake all mechanical and electrical engineering design for all project work, done in-house. We can also take care of all your drafting requirements with experienced team members available to assist with all CAD tasks.

EEM

RGB Industries now has a qualified Electrical Engineering Manager within the organisation. If you require someone to cover this statutory position for either short or long term we are here to help.

Hazardous Areas

At RGB Industries we can carry out the auditing of your hazardous areas to maintain compliance with AS/NZS 60079.17. We have the expertise to manage your verification dossier and undertake the necessary mandatory testing whether it be a visual, close or detailed inspection to maintain compliance. We have highly experience tradesmen that carry out the inspections and ensure your electrical equipment in explosive atmospheres is fit for purpose.

RECENT PROJECT

Shutdown Planning & Execution

RGB Industries was recently engaged by a client to plan, manage, and execute a shutdown on a power generation facility. As part of this contract, and with the cooperation of the client, we scoped the work and produced for them a plan, schedule, and list of items to procure. We took care of procurement, mobilisation of workforce, the execution supervision, the management of the entire labour workforce, coordination of all trades and management of the shutdown through to re-energisation. The project was competed with no incidents or injuries and the plant was back online ahead of schedule.

RECENT PROJECT

Cabling, Lighting & Instrumentation Upgrade

We completed a lighting upgrade and instrumentation upgrade for a valued client in the Central Queensland Bowen Basin. We addressed their issues by replacing a series of light fittings and poles to new LED Fittings providing greater illumination and access to carry out repairs with folding light poles for the maintenance team.

We carried out upgrades to their cyclones by adding Rosemount pressure transmitters to replace the manual units that existed, thickener underflow instrument upgrades and new radar level transmitter to provide higher level of accuracy to their surge bin level.

RECENT PROJECT

MCC Panel Replacement

We replaced a MCC Panel for a client to provide larger capacity for some additional motors being added to the plant. The project was an opportunity to bring the MCC up to the latest site specifications and added safety functionality. The execution, commissioning & HV Switching was carried out by the RGB team with no incidents and a project handover pack with all documentation provided upon completion.
